New product Launch – Silver Foil Labels for bottles
Bluemoon Graphix designed the logo and foil printed these distinctive Silver Foil labels.
Launching this month Cauldron Coffee in Eumundi, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Brewed using the Cold Drip process.
Silver Foil labels – Printing onto vinyl stickers
As these labels were only 4cm wide x 8cm high, the registration needed to be perfect. We printed in colour first and then the Silver Foil is added later. The mandala section of the logo has tiny blue dots which need to be aligned in position precisely. Registration while printing was critical to ensure the logo prints correctly. Any slip or error in printing would result in a poor quality label that would need to be rejected and re-printed. We only use Tried & Tested printers who we know can deliver exceptional quality the first time, every time. This means that there are no delays in production and we are proud to say we’ve never missed a deadline.
Different options to reduce the cost associated with Silver Foil labels
When it was decided that the logo would be in silver (an expensive printing process, compared to standard labels) we advised that the label be generic, meaning only one large run of Silver Foil Labels was needed instead of 4 different labels to differentiate the flavours. The unit price for each label was much less as printed at large quantity. We then created a set of small labels for the neck of the bottle to indicate the flavours – these can be run cheaply and quickly, ideal for when a new flavour is launched or for a ‘weekly special’ at short notice.
