There are many types of sign or banner options available, we have extensive experience in this field to recommend products based on how you want to promote your company, your environment and your budget.

A Frames

Things to consider: Will they be in a windy position, all day, everyday? Will you need to update the message regularly, with corflute or paper inserts? Or daily, by using a chalkboard or magnetic lettering?

There are many options available, from the heavy steel framed units with static colourbond sign to lightweight aluminum units that can be updated regularly and easily yourself with inserts, or magnetic lettering.

Pull Up or Retractable Banners

For these, we have sourced the best available and that we have tried & tested. Our banners are printed onto a Polyester Satin Fabric which gives a beautiful strong, vivid print and also is great in humidity, doesn’t curl so will look good time & time again. We have an ECO and DELUXE model which suit different needs, but both with the same lovely fabric print.

Things to consider: Why do you want the banner – Is it to go in a Reception or shop & to be up all the time? If yes, then the ECO Pull Up Banner would benefit you most. If you want a banner for taking to Trade Shows and you’d like a different message at each show – or in your shop, you’d like a different ‘Special’ each week… then the Deluxe Pull-up Banner would be better for you as the banner skin can be replaced easily. The deluxe is also environmentally friendly as you’ll be keeping the same base unit rather than throwing away a lot of cheaper alternatives that need the whole unit replacing.

Vinyl Hanging Banners

We can print and supply vinyl hanging banners and deliver Nationwide. Our budget Vinyl Banners are not hemmed or welded on the edges, however, we can provide Premium Vinyl Hanging banners which are more suitable for leaving outside 24/7. Teardrop Banners, Flying flags or Bali flags

Things to consider: Is the Teardrop Banner definitely the shape you want? Sometimes the shape of the teardrop banner will not be an advantage to the shape of your logo or the wording you want to use. Many use an umbrella term as Teardrop Banner but there are many different shapes and sizes! We can supply a variety of different shaped banners: Vertical or Rectangular banners, Curved top banners, wide sail banners – sometimes people use the term Bali Flag to cover the type of banner seen outside shops, when each individual shape has it’s own name… contact us today and we will advise on the best shape and style of banner for your needs. Bali Flags are not normally printed – they are just used as markers, whereas a Teardrop or Flying Banner can be digitally printed with your business logo or any wording or photos etc.

Stickers and labels

Things to consider: Is the sticker required for outdoor use? We can supply Marine Grade vinyl stickers suitable for not just car bumper stickers, but for use out on the ocean on boats!

The process begins with a free consultation either in person or via phone, Skype or email, where we can get a feel for you, your business and the type of image you’d like to project. 

We’ll then go away to research & begin the Logo Design, designing 2 alternate ‘first draft’ ideas for you. Some companies offer 5 or more different logos to choose from but we feel that is confusing for the client. We’ll offer one design following your exact initial ideas and then one which is our own intuitive interpretation.

You may like one straight away or elements of both… we’ll discuss in detail with you and make any alterations, mix & match elements from each design or add new elements, change colours etc.and re-proof before refining into your finished logo. 5 thoughts to consider when updating your brochure

Are you looking at updating your brochure? We’ve designed & printed hundreds of brochures and would love to pass this advise before you re-print.

  1. Forget you know your company… look at your brochure as a potential client would view it.
    • Does it tell you everything you’d want to know if you had never seen it before?
    • Does it contain TOO much? People get bored very easily, too much text will put potential clients off reading further
    • Is it engaging? Does it interest you & make you want to read further?
    • Do your photos SELL the product. A poor photo will put people off, better to have no photos than a bad photo!
  2. Ask someone who doesn’t know your company or products… allow them to give feedback with fresh eyes on your business – Ask 3 or 4 people. Llisten to their advise as they will be seeing your business as a new customer would.
  3. If you have a Tri-fold brochure… watch how others open it, what is the first thing they see? Is that where you have the strongest message?
  4. Try to keep dates and prices off your brochure. Prices or Special offers can be added via a cost-effective single insert, daily/weekly/monthly to suit you… or state that prices & Specials are listed on your website, facebook page, twitter etc… which will ensure your brochure remains current for longer but also gain you visitors to your online mediums. If you do have to list your prices, then maybe go for a lower print run – yes, the unit cost per leaflet will be more, but you’ll use them quicker, so can update sooner… a low unit cost does not mean much when your brochures are sat in a box doing nothing!
  5. Remember to highlight ALL your calls-to-action , not just your phone number… Do you have a Website, e-Newsletter, Facebook or Twitter page? Then make sure that is highlighted on your brochure and tell people so that they can interact with you!

Lenticular Printing – Wow your clients with a Flip Card

We are specialists in Lenticular Printing.

Remember the gifts in cereal packets when you were little? The footballer kicking and scoring the goal or the face that flipped from sad to happy? That is called Lenticular Printing – a card that ‘flips’ or animates between 2 or more images or messages. Remember how you couldn’t put one down or would pass them around your friends? Now imagine how your brand will stay on peoples desks when used on a well thought out postcard!

How about a Business Card or Promotional Postcard to WOW your clients, a talking point they will remember?

Pricing depends on the size of the card and the amount of ‘flips’. We can print with 2 or 3 different images to make up the animated card. These Lenticular cards are amazing as a promotional tool with one side printed as the flip image and the reverse printed CMYK colour for contact details, text or photos. Due to the processes used, there can be no Lenticular on the reverse but that is great opportunity to print your details etc.

More Silver Foil Labels

New for this Cold Drip Product range, silver foil labels designed and printed for Cold Drip Chai by Cauldron Coffee

You can find these silver foil labels distinctly enhancing bottles within outlets all around the Sunshine Coast.

A distinctive set of Silver Foiled labels and stickers for a knock out look. Premium Silver Foil labels printed onto Matt black vinyl. Our vinyl stickers and labels are waterproof, fridge proof, ice proof.

Perfect for longevity and consistent good looks regardless of environment the bottles find themselves.

This design posed challenges for the print guys because the detail is tiny and silver foil is a post-print finish. This means that the main colours of the labels are printed first and then the silver is added once the ink is dry. New product Launch – Silver Foil Labels for bottles

Bluemoon Graphix designed the logo and foil printed these distinctive Silver Foil labels.

Launching this month Cauldron Coffee in Eumundi, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Brewed using the Cold Drip process.

Silver Foil labels – Printing onto vinyl stickers

As these labels were only 4cm wide x 8cm high, the registration needed to be perfect. We printed in colour first and then the Silver Foil is added later. The mandala section of the logo has tiny blue dots which need to be aligned in position precisely. Registration while printing was critical to ensure the logo prints correctly. Any slip or error in printing would result in a poor quality label that would need to be rejected and re-printed. We only use Tried & Tested printers who we know can deliver exceptional quality the first time, every time. This means that there are no delays in production and we are proud to say we’ve never missed a deadline.

Different options to reduce the cost associated with Silver Foil labels

When it was decided that the logo would be in silver (an expensive printing process, compared to standard labels) we advised that the label be generic, meaning only one large run of Silver Foil Labels was needed instead of 4 different labels to differentiate the flavours. The unit price for each label was much less as printed at large quantity. We then created a set of small labels for the neck of the bottle to indicate the flavours – these can be run cheaply and quickly, ideal for when a new flavour is launched or for a ‘weekly special’ at short notice.

We provide  ‘tried & tested’ Pull Up Banners with quality bases and prints. Our Pull Up Banners are printed here on the Sunshine Coast and we provide Free Delivery locally. We do also have suppliers that we use nationwide so if you have an event interstate, we can arrange for the Pull Up Banners to be printed & sent direct to your venue or hotel to reduce delivery costs.

Yes, if local we’ll deliver direct to you! We’d be more than happy to demonstrate the easiest and safest way to use them when we drop them off to your premises or event!  We do supply each with an Care Instruction sheet which, if you follow, will ensure your Pull Up Banners stay in premium condition for years to come. Pull up & retractable banners can be damaged if used incorrectly or handled roughly during freight so we always include care information and advise so that you can get the most from your banner.
